June 23, 2017
The Office for the Public Sector, in conjunction with the Australia and New Zealand School of Government, is pleased to invite you to the following event:
Seminar: Influencing Human Behaviour: Solutions for public policy
This seminar is designed to bring fresh knowledge and practical insights to the behavioural aspects of designing and implementing public policy.
Against the background of the growing interest in behavioural insights, or ‘nudge’, as a new tool in government’s toolkit, Dr Liam Smith will cover the most common behaviour change mistakes.
Drawing on lessons learned through numerous projects across Australia, he will provide an overview of how he and his colleagues have developed behaviour change interventions to both avoid these mistakes and develop evidence-informed behaviour change approaches.
Dr Smith will present a series of practical steps, including some useful tools for developing future behaviour change interventions in South Australia.
Date: Friday 23 June 2017
Time: 1.00pm (registrations) 1.30pm – 3.00pm
Location: SAHMRI Auditorium, Ground Floor, North Terrace
