Our industrial relations team works with agencies to achieve fair, equitable and productive workplaces. They develop and interpret industrial relations terms and conditions of employment, and provide expert advice to ministers and chief executives.
Our team gives effect to the Government’s salaries and wages policy by ensuring that enterprise bargaining outcomes are consistent with budget and related policy statements. The team represents the public sector employer (Chief Executive DPC) in enterprise bargaining negotiations for major employment groups and agencies, and provides governance and support for other enterprise bargaining within the public sector.
The team represents the employer in industrial relations commission and court matters: disputes, monetary claims and associated matters across the sector.
They support our Commissioner’s statutory functions, providing advice on determinations affecting conditions of employment.
