One-Hour Information Session: Jawun Executive Secondments
February 13, 2018
The South Australian Government has formed a partnership with the not-for-profit organisation Jawun, to develop the talent of SA Government executives, and support practical reconciliation in South Australia.
Highly recommended for executives, and those aspiring to become executives, Jawun Executive Secondments involve a six-week residential placement with Indigenous-led community organisations in the Lower River Murray, Lakes and Coorong, and the Far West Coast.
You will be working shoulder-to-shoulder with private sector executives to achieve sustained, material and measurable improvements in the lives of Indigenous people in those communities.
Information Sessions are held prior to the quarterly intake close of applications dates, to explain what to expect from a Jawun Executive Secondment. The South Australian Regional Director of Jawun will present the session and discuss what happens during secondments and a previous SA Government Jawun secondee will also share their experience.
Applications for 2018 Round Two close on 23 February 2018.
