Dear Jobs4Youth Supervisor,
Thank you for taking on such an important role in the Jobs4Youth Program.
This vital program is renewing the South Australian public sector with enthusiastic, talented young people.
Jobs4Youth has inspired young people from a wide variety of backgrounds to start their careers in our public sector.
In 2014 Jobs4YouthSA appointed 188 administration and sterilisation trainees with an 80% retention rate to date.
From 2015 the program expanded to include trainees and graduates. The intake includes trainees in administration, information technology, education support, and sterilisation. Graduate roles include human resource management, marketing, and procurement. Recruits under Jobs4Youth are generally aged between 17 and 30 and working across a range of participating agencies.
Your role as a supervisor is incredibly important as you will influence and help develop a future public servant.
I want these trainees and graduates to be supported and encouraged as much as possible to ensure our public sector retains the best and brightest young people in our State.
This website contains information that will help you fulfil your role as a supervisor.
I hope your experience as a Jobs4Youth supervisor over the next 12 months is an enjoyable one.
