The Self Insurance Management System (SIMS)

SIMS allows agencies to manage public sector workers compensation claims, and to process claim related payments, manage rehabilitation, and to meet legislative compliance with the South Australian Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (1986). The system also enables across government analysis of operational data and monitoring of emerging trends in occupational health and injury management.

Hazard Incident Reporting Module (HIRM)

Each South Australian public sector agency is responsible for the administration of hazards and incidents and for the reporting of hazard/incident data. The Hazard Incident Reporting Module (HIRM) module of SIMS allows agencies and their staff to input and track details regarding hazards, incidents, investigations and non-conformance. HIRM also allows monitoring and reporting of benchmark key performance indicators.
